Corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, and Post-publication Discussions
The Political Sciences Journal is committed to maintaining the academic integrity of its published research. In line with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines, the journal will take the following actions when errors or concerns are identified:
- Correction:
A correction will be published if minor errors are identified that do not affect the overall results, interpretation, or conclusions of the article. - Retraction:
A retraction will be issued if substantial errors, ethical violations, plagiarism, or data manipulation are confirmed, and these compromise the reliability of the work. - Expression of Concern:
An expression of concern may be issued if there are serious doubts about an article and the investigation is ongoing. This serves to notify readers temporarily until a final decision is reached.
All corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern will be clearly linked to the original article on the journal’s website and indexed in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
- Post-publication Discussions:
The Political Sciences Journal welcomes scholarly comments and feedback on published articles. Such comments will be reviewed by the Editorial Board in line with COPE best practices, and may result in a correction, expression of concern, scholarly response, or retraction where necessary.
