Publication charge policy

Publication charge policy and waiver policy statement 

Political Sciences Journal is an open-access journal and does not charge subscription fees. The publication fee for an accepted article is IQD 145,000 for researchers from Iraq and USD 100 for researchers from outside Iraq, to cover publication service costs.

No fees are charged before the manuscript has been accepted for publication. Publication fees have no influence on editorial or peer-review decisions.

A publication fee waiver is granted when the corresponding author, at the time of manuscript submission, is affiliated with an institution located in a low-income economy according to the current World Bank income classification. The waiver should be requested at the time of manuscript submission. A waiver request or decision has no influence on editorial or peer-review decisions.

  1. Money transfer services for Iraqi-residing authors.
  2. Western Union for authors residing outside Iraq to the following address:
