الملخص

تعد الدول الافريقية من اكثر دول العالم التي تعاني من ظاهرة تجنيد الاطفال في الحروب والنزاعات، ويقف وراءها العديد من الاسباب منها طبيعة التكوين البشري للأطفال، والعنف المجتمعي الذي يتعرضون له، وقلة الحصول على التعليم، والضائقة الاقتصادية، فضلاً عن دور الحروب والنزاعات الافريقية وغيرها من الاسباب التي اجبرت الاطفال على الانضمام الى الجماعات المسلحة والمشاركة بالعمليات العسكرية، علمًا ان تجنيد الاطفال يقسم على نوعين اجباري وطوعي، وقد ادى ذلك الى العديد من التداعيات الانسانية والامنية التي لا تنحصر بمدة زمنية معينة بل تمتد الى الاجيال اللاحقة، ونظرًا لخطورتها فقد وقف المجتمع الدولي بالضد منها، ولأجل ذلك شُرعت العديد من المواثيق والاتفاقات الدولية المناهضة لتجنيد الاطفال، فضلاً عن الدور الدولي في الحد منها.
